Our last full honeymoon day is coming to a close – and what a day it was!
We woke up to low-lying clouds against the base of the mountains, of which I snapped a bunch of photos. Here’s one:

I’ve been craving the Four Seasons’ Banana Duo since the last time I had it, so there was no question as to what I was ordering for breakfast this morning. I could eat this fabulous meal every morning and not tire of it.

After breakfast, John and I headed back into…

for another hike.

The trail headed in toward the lakes looked out on a spectacular view of the Teton Range. Good thing I didn’t trip over my own feet while gazing up at these beauties:

We looped around both lakes for a lovely 6 (ish) mile hike.

We found a beautiful place to stop for lunch, which for me was an almost-repeat of our day in Yellowstone.

The view:

Best hike of the vacation!
John and I decided to treat ourselves to room service for our last dinner on our honeymoon. We started with another local Snake River brew, which I savored slowly while enjoying the fire.

If you come across any of the Snake River beer varieties, I would definitely recommend picking up a six pack case.

Then our food came…

Pretty impressive set-up for room service, no?
I ordered the Elk & Black Bean Chili, which was fabulous.

I honestly couldn’t discern a different flavor, so I suppose elk tastes similar to beef. This chili was hearty, but not overly heavy – and the mini corn muffins were a *sweet* addition. It’s another dark & rainy evening here in Jackson Hole, so this comforting entree was the perfect choice.

Being a carb-lover, I also helped myself to the whole grain roll from the bread basket.

I decided to be indulgent and order a dessert as well. Which offering did I choose?

Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee, of course!

Can words describe how scrumptious this treat was? I don’t think so. Instead, I’ll just leave you with this close-up:

This was a fun & yummy way to conclude our last full day of vacation!
